Missionaries
It has been a Blessing to have had the oppertunity to be involved in the lives of several faithful and dedicated Missionaries
Bro Richard and Sis Naomi Miller

While pastoring at Northside Baptist Church, I was fighting he call to go to The South Pacific Islands as a missionary. I surrendered so go January 2, 1972 which was a Sunday morning. I then resigned the pastorate of Northside Baptist Church. When I surrendered, I asked the Lord for two things: Never to let me doubt that He has called me and never let me go begging.
I moved from Carthage, Texas back to Magnolia, Arkansas. I got a job and worked for a year to get our bills paid. During the year that I worked, I attended a few local Bible Conferences where the Lord let me meet 5 Pastors that invited us to come and share the burden that I had and my call to the mission field. At the end of that year of working I quit my job and stepped out on pure faith. I called those 5 Pastors that had invited me and set up meetings.
We started the first church in the Bena Bena Region in the Mountains of Papua New Guinea. Our first Brother in Christ to surrender to preach was Bro. Tata Bais. We trained him for 3 years in Bible School. Upon his completion, he accepted the pastorate of Safanaga Baptist Church that we started and he remains their pastor even today in 2009. In 1988, the Lord moved on my heart to relocate in the Fiji Islands. I begged the Lord to leave us in Papua New Guinea. Though I could not see it, He had a need for us in the Fiji Islands. There were two Independent Baptist Missionaries working in the Fiji Islands at that time. With in the first year and a half that we were in the Fiji Islands, one of the missionaries marriage broke and the other missionary had a massive heart attack and died. There we were, right where the Lord wanted us to be. believe me, the Lord knows what He is doing.
We have labored long and hard in Papua New Guinea and the Fiji Islands. I have faithfully traveled back and forth between Papua New Guinea and the Fiji Islands. I have become a modern day Apostle Paul to our people in the Islands. We now have 127 Churches that we are involved with and 2 Bible Colleges and 6 Bible Institutes.
Today, I only have one regret and that is, I just wish that I had another life to give.
